301 – Tis the Season for Miracles
It’s no coincidence that the Hanukah holiday comes at the darkest time of the year. If you’re in a happy and fulfilling relationship it could be the happiest time of year for you, but if you haven’t yet found that satisfying relationship, it could get very dark and depressing.
For those of you who aren’t feeling so merry at this particular time in your life, I’ve got a thought to share that I think will brighten your day. According to Jewish tradition the holiday of Hanukah is a time that is particularly ripe for miracles. Over 2000 years ago the Israelites overcame overwhelming odds to defeat their oppressors, and when they lit a tiny flask of oil that was meant to burn for one day, it miraculously burned for eight.
This is the time of year when incredible things can happen to you that you thought would never occur. As dark as it might seem, there could be amazing light right around the corner. All you need is a little faith and the desire to make things happen. That means getting out and finding opportunities to meet new people. One of them might turn out to be your soulmate. This is the season of miracles. If you make the effort, you just might see one in your own life.
